In honor of the holiday season, I have come up with my version of "The Twelve Days of Christmas."

"Biker Betty's Twelve Days of Christmas"

On the First day of Christmas my true love gave to me,
A horn for my motorcycle (made of chrome).

Note: I haven't been able to get out much on my motorcycle these days. Either it's too cold or I'm too busy with other things. I did manage to get out a few times last week to do errands. I had to be so careful, with all the pebbles they put on the roads for the last snow we had. Usually it's picked up by now, but it's not. Most has been blown to the side of the roads by traffic. But at least I can still get out some during the winter.

Oh that would be fun to finish off the song.

You could just go out and sit out there with the lights blinking and close your eyes -- and pretend the wind was blowing under your helmet...
and the bugs were caught between your teeth...

Let me offer the second line.

On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Two highway pegs,
And a horn for my motorcycle (made of chrome).

Cheers,
Lucky

Hi Pamela, The song was fun to write. I have it all written out and will be posting it each day.

"and the bugs were caught between your teeth..." Yuck!!! Luckily I wear a full face helmet and don't get the bugs in the teeth, lol.

Hi Lucky, Thanks for the suggestion. I had thought of it, but came up with something more practical for the season, lol.

does that mean we get a post every day? ;)

Hi Giest, yes. For the next 10 days I will post another verse. I hope everyone enjoys it. My husband laughed at a few. He liked it and if he doesn't like it, he would boldly tell me, lol.

Happy Holidays
