Yep, that's what they are calling this last blast of snow. The kids have another day off from school and are now officially on their Christmas break. Today was to have been the last day of school till next year. The snow stopped for a little while last night, but by morning it was falling again. But without the wind, it's now not a blizzard. This is the worse snow storm since we moved here from Wyoming in 2000.
Many people are very excited about the prospect of a white Christmas. I have to admit that despite the fact that I can't ride my motorcycle, the snow is awesome! I hope to venture out later today to get some pictures of the beautiful scenery. I've got more Christmas cookies to make today. Yummmmy! I'm just glad I got my Christmas shopping done. Last year this time I was still getting a few things.
As you can see in the photo above, our motorcycles are safely tucked away in the garage. It was snowing when I took that photo. It's not a heated garage, but they are protected from the elements. Someday one of our summer projects is to insulate the garage. We store our sodas in our garage during the winter. On the "really" cold days, they have been known to explode! When we are in the living room or dining room we can hear them when it happens, lol.
Wishing You a White Christmas & A Happy New Year :)
