Wordless Wednesday #3
I took this picture this last summer. It's a poppy that was growing in my front yard. Sorry I'm a little late posting this. Between a fair amount of sub work lately and having the sniffles, I've been busy.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Wednesday,
Biker Betty :)

Wow!! Thats really very very good. Very crisp detail, and wonderful vibrant color. I like it a lot.
Thank you for stopping by. Hope you had a great WW.
:)
Poor girl ! but your flower is beautiful !
Now that is a little piece of summer -- cheery!
Beautiful. I also posted flowers. Must be that we're sick of winter and ready for spring? :-)
Another reminder that spring is just around the corner. Visit my journal to see a picture taken at Black Canyon in Colorado last July. (Hubby and I took our first motorcycle ride of the year yesterday, by the way!)
Wow that is really pretty...love the color and lighting!
I love poppies. I haven't seen one in a while...Thank you for sharing.

It's a beautiful flower to cheer up this rainy afternoon!
Hi Ryan, Thank you. Your photos are always so awesome. This particular photo is just as I took it. No cropping or photo shop adjustments.
Hi Gattina, Thanks. I will be so glad to get over the sniffles. Thanks for the compliment on the flower. I do love how it happen to turn out.
Hi Pamela, That's what I was thinking when I picked it for this week.
Hi Janie, I've been over to see your flowers. It sure helps to chase away the winter blues.
Hi Donna, I will have to check out your Colorado trip pictures. Congrats on getting out on a motorcycle ride. During the winter sometimes it's hard to get out on the nice days when they suddenly happen. Glad you were able to get out.
Hi Eagles Wings, Thanks. I do love how the sun hits the flower petals.
Eph2810, we will be going on our third summer with our poppies. They are a joy to watch flower. They usually flower 2-3 times during the summer. We are surprised at how big they get.
Hi Amy, Thanks. Of course, I can't take the credit for the color, lol.
Hi Teamouse, Yes, I can't wait for spring. Actually, I can't wait for summer. Spring can still bring lots of snow for us.
Hi Sarch, I hear it too. My summer riding schedule is starting to fill up, yea!!! The Mountain Shadow Riders have lots of fun rides planned.
Hi Mar, Sorry to hear it's raining your way. I do love how cheery the flower turned out.
