It Was A Gorgeous Day In Colorado

Wow, it was absolutely gorgeous today. Because I was very busy today, I was only able to ride my bike to and from church. With all the horrible weather we have been getting the last two months, I was very glad to be able to ride my V-Star that much. It was warm and the roads only have patches of gravel on them from previous snows.

I came home ahead of my family, due to my schedule. All the way home I kept hearing this little voice saying "Take the shortcut," which actually was the long way home, lol. Sadly, I didn't have the time for that today and took the straight and true course, sigh. I'm just grateful to have been able to get out. The above photo was taken this morning, so it's hot off the press, lol.

Wishing you sunny weather in your part of the world,

Biker Betty :)

You are so blessed to live in Colorado. We plan to trailer our motorcycle out there in July, then ride all over.

You live in Colorado! I absolutely love Colorado, lived there for a couple of years in the early 90's. Beautiful state and wonderful people.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and yep, robins already! With freezing temps out, I think they are being rather optimistic.

(fixed your oops btw... *grins*

Have a great week!

Hi Bill,
It felt like Christmas being able to get out to at least get places and do errands. I hope it stays nice for a while, too.

Hi Donna,
you will love the mountain rides. I do feel blessed living here. We only moved here 6 years ago and love it.

Hi Danella,
If I remember right, you live in VT. It has to be beautiful there. I still can't believe the robins have arrived there. Thanks for fixing my "oops," LOL.

I mustn't show my husband this photo. His bike is tucked way back in the garage. We still have 3 feet of snow on the ground but I know he is already dreaming of spring and the open road.

Whenever you can get out on the road it's a gift! Especially after the weather you've been having.

Hi Pamela, LOL, I didn't realize what I was saying. Guess the sermon sunk in better then I thought.

Hi Eagles Wings, I do fee so blessed to live in Colorado. This is the second most beautiful place I have lived. First place is California Redwoods where I lived for 10 years when growing up.

Hi Coll, At times I know how he feels. It's such an edgy feeling when I can't get out on my motorcycle. There is such a free feeling when driving on the bike.

Hi Giest, Yikes -4F?!? I hear the groundhog has predicted an early spring. I hope so, but spring still means lots of snow here. But if that means summer is sooner, yea!!!

Hi Darlene, That mountain top is actually just to the left of the Peak, but just about as pretty.

Hi WendyWings, I need to visit you, lol. Summer? Now that has to be nice.

Hi Steve, You are so right. I'm grateful for any nice enough days during the winter. Seems you're in the same boat since you get snow too. Your new scooter sure is nice. Have fun.
