~ Now Here's An Antique Motorcycle ~

Theme: Antique ** Become a Photo Hunter ** View Blogroll

I found this antique motorcycle in Victor, Colorado. It has definitely seen better days. This was my first day trip on my own on my motorcycle and boy was it fun. I was out searching for items for the Mountain Shadow Riders scavanger hunt this last summer. This wasn't one of the items, but I thought it was pretty neat.

I knew, or at least I hoped you would post an antique motorcycle. This one looks like it has seen better days. I thought about an old antique truck that has been restored, but it is down the street and I haven't been able to find a way to get close enough to get a shot without stopping traffic. So I had to go with something else.

As a planter, I personally think the bike is better than an old toilet.

That is rather neat. Is it now a plant holder? Oh by the way I like your new header.

So neat the things we find when out looking around! I do tend to view things differently now that I have a camera close by all the time! I really like this shot! Perfect for the theme. Thanks for stopping by!

That is very very cool! Thinking of YOU, I went down into the garage to photograph the Hubs old antique motorcycle (well, he has a newer antique - which is his old ride - and then the OLD antique which came down through the family) BUT when I got into the garage, the OLD bike wasn't there -- and the Hubs was already in bed. So now I have some QUESTIONS for the Hubs today! LOL! (though I'm vaaaaaaguely remembering that he might POSSIBLY have told me it went to live at his brother's house... maybe...)

I LOVE this pic. I have a pic here at my house of an antique pickup truck that has been sitting in the feild so long that it has grown into the feild. It is half buried, flowers are growing in and around it and it is truly lovely.

Could that be any more perfect for you? Unbelievable.

My uncle used to ride an old Indian motorcycle that looked a lot like this one. Well, it was in better shape of course! Amazing how much motorcycles have changed over the years, isn't it?

Thanks for all the great comments you left over on my blog earlier this week!

Ride safe and have a great weekend!

I love the design of those old bikes. Is it true that they are really valuable? You may have a gold mine there!

Yup, I wondered if you'd have a picture of an antique motorcycle for today's Hunt. You didn't disappoint. Wonderful choice!

we went to a garden show this summer..and someone had a motorcyle made out of combine (harvester) parts in their back yard flower bed. It reminded me a bit of this one.

You find the greatest photo ops. But, then you are always riding with that intention.
