~ Now Here's An Antique Motorcycle ~
I found this antique motorcycle in Victor, Colorado. It has definitely seen better days. This was my first day trip on my own on my motorcycle and boy was it fun. I was out searching for items for the Mountain Shadow Riders scavanger hunt this last summer. This wasn't one of the items, but I thought it was pretty neat.

*LOL* Looks like they were using it as a planter!
Great photo. Thanks for sharing.
We've come a long way baby! Amazing that is what they used to look like! So funny! :)
I knew, or at least I hoped you would post an antique motorcycle. This one looks like it has seen better days. I thought about an old antique truck that has been restored, but it is down the street and I haven't been able to find a way to get close enough to get a shot without stopping traffic. So I had to go with something else.
As a planter, I personally think the bike is better than an old toilet.
That is rather neat. Is it now a plant holder? Oh by the way I like your new header.
I love the bike and the photo....yup that'a an antique alright....
mine is up....Happy hunting
He, he, before I opened you blog I bed with myself and thought, there is an antique bike I am sure ! See, I winned, lol !
I bet it has some stories to tell...lol. Great photo.
Take care,
Connie

That is a perfect antique photo for you! A motorcycle! Don't you wish you could see what it looked like new?
Wonderful. This is PERFECT for your blog!!!!
My antiques are posted....drop by if you can!!
Now that is old!!! Hey - I love the flowers in the coffee cans in the background! :-)
Great photo! And I agree, it's MUCH better planter than some old toilet!
So neat the things we find when out looking around! I do tend to view things differently now that I have a camera close by all the time! I really like this shot! Perfect for the theme. Thanks for stopping by!
Oh I love it!! My boyfriend is in the business where he sells things like this, and I always love coming across them because you just know so many people had fun riding!!
That is really cool! Yeppers that's an antique! Good cathc of a photograph!
This is amazing! Is it a Harley? Looks like it had alot of miles on it.
Great post.
Mine's up.
Happy Weekend, Betty!
Very cool old motorcycle! :) It has definitely seen better days! Great shot. :)
That is very very cool! Thinking of YOU, I went down into the garage to photograph the Hubs old antique motorcycle (well, he has a newer antique - which is his old ride - and then the OLD antique which came down through the family) BUT when I got into the garage, the OLD bike wasn't there -- and the Hubs was already in bed. So now I have some QUESTIONS for the Hubs today! LOL! (though I'm vaaaaaaguely remembering that he might POSSIBLY have told me it went to live at his brother's house... maybe...)
I LOVE this pic. I have a pic here at my house of an antique pickup truck that has been sitting in the feild so long that it has grown into the feild. It is half buried, flowers are growing in and around it and it is truly lovely.
Could that be any more perfect for you? Unbelievable.
Happy photo hunt
What a perfect entry for Biker Betty!
I like the entire photo!
That is a neat old motorcycle!
My uncle used to ride an old Indian motorcycle that looked a lot like this one. Well, it was in better shape of course! Amazing how much motorcycles have changed over the years, isn't it?
Thanks for all the great comments you left over on my blog earlier this week!
Ride safe and have a great weekend!
So cool, Betty!
It looks like and sounds like you had a great day!
Mine's up too!
Gotta love it ;~)
Great setting for it, too...amongst the flowers...sweet find!
Very cool!
Very cool and right up your alley!
Great photo. I thought you might post a photo like this. I bet it had some awesome rides in it's time. Happy weekend.
This is really old. Imagine how the new ones look so much different now.
Cheers!
That is a funny photo. We love to take photos like that. It is something you are not expecting to see.
Great shot.
I love the design of those old bikes. Is it true that they are really valuable? You may have a gold mine there!
Wow, leave it to you to find an antique motorcycle. That's pretty awesome.
My Entry is on my photo blog.

Yup, I wondered if you'd have a picture of an antique motorcycle for today's Hunt. You didn't disappoint. Wonderful choice!
we went to a garden show this summer..and someone had a motorcyle made out of combine (harvester) parts in their back yard flower bed. It reminded me a bit of this one.
You find the greatest photo ops. But, then you are always riding with that intention.
That's really cool and what a neat way to have a decorative planter!!
what a perfect photo for your site!
I finally see something that is at least as old as me and in worse shape :)
Cody
Looks like an old BSA. I wonder if it could be resurrected?
Mike
I see a picture like this and just start itching to go for a ride. Come on Springtime!
Wow - good eyes. I love the photo!
Hey Betty,
Is there any way I could get a look-see at the list that ya'll used for your scavenger hunt?
