~ This Weeks Photo Hunters Theme is "Water" ~

I hope no one is tired of seeing my motorcycle scavanger hunt photos from last summer. It just so happens that I had another that matched this week's theme, lol. In the background is a "water"fall. This particular day I was riding with the Mountain Shadow Riders up to Terryall, Colorado. During this trip we got a little rain, almost snow, and lots of cold wind. Later in the ride most of us put on our rain gear and were quite warm. This ride, like all of them, was a lot of fun.

If you're ever looking for fun, I highly recommend taking the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) beginners course, pass it and get the motorcycle endorsement on your drivers license and get yourself a motorcycle.

Ladies, motorcycles aren't just for guys anymore. The motorcycle companies are recognizing this and making great motorcycle gear for us now. They just need to make more motorcycles for shorter people, that's my only complaint!! But they can lower some of the models, so don't let that stop you. After the MSF course you won't be intimidated by them. They do a great job of breaking it all down in manageable chunks for learning. So you gotta get a motorcycle. It is just loads of fun!!!

Wishing you many adventures,

Biker Betty :)

Oh that does sound like it would just be wonderful but I'm afraid that the way people drive out here in the Northeast I'd be flattened in no time!

That's a wicked cool waterfall! Where does it go, it looks like it just disappears into the rock. Your bike shot would never get boring! Happy hunting :)

Wow, that's really neat! I always wanted to get a bike but my hubman was the one against it. But he's into hot rods. That's cool, too! I think your creativity is wonderful...Now if you could get your Nanday to ride with you!

that's super! It looks like the water is coming out of the rocky hill. Motorcycles are fun to ride. Used to ride when I was young. Haven't ridden in 17 years.

Thanks for stopping by.

I hope you don't stop showing your trips! The waterfall there is fascinating: it comes out from under the rock. I wanted to get behind the photo and see how it got under there!

I can imagine how hot it is once you've got all the gear on out there.

Waterfalls? I thought there might be some snow on top of that mountain too, but maybe not. We are too flat to have waterfalls... One never tires to hear of your biking explorations..
Have a great week.

How magnificent to ride through Colorado! My husband proposed to me there with a view of the mountains in the background! The whole state is breathtaking!

I have often wanted a motorcycle for their ease in parking here in LA! However, the one time I did ride on the back of my cousin's bike, I really got scared in traffic. The backroads and scenic views were amazing though!

I told my girls I ought to get a motorcycle to ride back and forth to work on- they said they'd disown me! My post is up, not as adventuresome as yours, though...

Gosh, the waterfall is very striking against the rocks!

I'm terrified of motorcycles, but I can totally understand why people ride them. And I love it that it's not just a man's thing anymore!

Definitely not tired of your motorcycle scavenger hunt photos! Nice choice for water. :)

Learning to ride a motorcycle sounds like fun, but there is only so much time available for hobbies and I already love running, horseback riding, group fitness, strength training, etc.

Thanks for stopping by and have a good day!

It's great how much your bike gets you through a lot of places. The waterfalls in the background is great too. Something like flowing water amidst a desert.
