I hope no one is tired of seeing my motorcycle scavanger hunt photos from last summer. It just so happens that I had another that matched this week's theme, lol. In the background is a "water"fall. This particular day I was riding with the Mountain Shadow Riders up to Terryall, Colorado. During this trip we got a little rain, almost snow, and lots of cold wind. Later in the ride most of us put on our rain gear and were quite warm. This ride, like all of them, was a lot of fun.
If you're ever looking for fun, I highly recommend taking the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) beginners course, pass it and get the motorcycle endorsement on your drivers license and get yourself a motorcycle.
Ladies, motorcycles aren't just for guys anymore. The motorcycle companies are recognizing this and making great motorcycle gear for us now. They just need to make more motorcycles for shorter people, that's my only complaint!! But they can lower some of the models, so don't let that stop you. After the MSF course you won't be intimidated by them. They do a great job of breaking it all down in manageable chunks for learning. So you gotta get a motorcycle. It is just loads of fun!!!
Wishing you many adventures,
Biker Betty :)

Oh that does sound like it would just be wonderful but I'm afraid that the way people drive out here in the Northeast I'd be flattened in no time!
sounds like loads of fun!
too bad we don't have the same thing here ...
enjoy your weekend! :)
Betty that looks like a neat place to ride to. Hot dog it's riding season again!!!
Hey when you get a minute you need to pop over to my place and read about the award you have won!
That's a wicked cool waterfall! Where does it go, it looks like it just disappears into the rock. Your bike shot would never get boring! Happy hunting :)
Nice photo! You sure got to see a lot of neat things on your motorcycle trips. :)
Looks like a pretty place to ride to. My post is up too so stop in if you have time
Very cute picture!
I played too :-)
Your adventures are so inspiring... I don't think I'd ever tire of photos and stories from your bike rides!
No, I don't get tired of your motorcycle pictures from you rides last summer. Great picture for this week's theme.
Thank you so much for information regarding the MSF. One of these days I would like to get my motorcycle license.
Have a wonderful and blessed weekend.
Looks really fun :)
You sure make it look like fun, BB! I think I'd end up road pizza.
Nice job on The Hunt.
Nice photo. :) Riding a motorcycle does sound like fun. Lovely waterfall in the backgorund of your photo.
Wow, that's really neat! I always wanted to get a bike but my hubman was the one against it. But he's into hot rods. That's cool, too! I think your creativity is wonderful...Now if you could get your Nanday to ride with you!
Hi Betty. I love your entries. It's amazing how many beautiful places you've been to on your trusted motorcycle.
Thank you for sharing. It's a lovely place and the water fall makes a great background.
Thanks for visiting my photo hunt earlier. Take care!
I never tire of your motorcycle pictures. I always wonder how you are going to work it in. Looked like a perfect day and beautiful place.
Cool waterfall. You must see some amazing sites from your bike. I love to ride.
I know that motorcycles can be for women too but I personally have a big fear of it.
Thanks for dropping by.
Betty,....I love the waterfall...
My brother has a motorcycle and likes to ride.Have you seen the movie
Wild Hogs ?? It will keep you laughing...Thanks for coming over today. Baba
Hey cool, I did a waterfall too.
You are SO talking me into getting a bike. Love the photos with you and your gear. I'm living vicariously through you. lol

Thanks for stopping by and seeing my necessity of life picture..washing dishes..IT has to be done sometimes you know..Sandy
that's super! It looks like the water is coming out of the rocky hill. Motorcycles are fun to ride. Used to ride when I was young. Haven't ridden in 17 years.
Thanks for stopping by.
I hope you don't stop showing your trips! The waterfall there is fascinating: it comes out from under the rock. I wanted to get behind the photo and see how it got under there!
I can imagine how hot it is once you've got all the gear on out there.
Waterfalls? I thought there might be some snow on top of that mountain too, but maybe not. We are too flat to have waterfalls... One never tires to hear of your biking explorations..
Have a great week.
How magnificent to ride through Colorado! My husband proposed to me there with a view of the mountains in the background! The whole state is breathtaking!
I have often wanted a motorcycle for their ease in parking here in LA! However, the one time I did ride on the back of my cousin's bike, I really got scared in traffic. The backroads and scenic views were amazing though!
I told my girls I ought to get a motorcycle to ride back and forth to work on- they said they'd disown me! My post is up, not as adventuresome as yours, though...
Very interesting background. Is it ice?
Happy Hunting!
Be sure I´ll never get tired of having a look at your motocycle pictures, Betty. I love them all!
Have a great adventurous weekend,
San (concerning your question: I´m a photoshop-user!)
Another great photo for this week. It's like TN Chick had a copy of your scavenger hunt list:)
Have a good weekend.
Gosh, the waterfall is very striking against the rocks!
I'm terrified of motorcycles, but I can totally understand why people ride them. And I love it that it's not just a man's thing anymore!
That is a beautiful picture. I bet you had a lot of fun. Thank You for visiting my blog.
Definitely not tired of your motorcycle scavenger hunt photos! Nice choice for water. :)
Learning to ride a motorcycle sounds like fun, but there is only so much time available for hobbies and I already love running, horseback riding, group fitness, strength training, etc.
Thanks for stopping by and have a good day!
Thanks for visiting my Hunt. Like your bike!
Sorry I'm late, though - life gets in the way sometimes,...
Sounds like you had fun!! I love riding our motorcycle with my husband in the summertime. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
The mountain with the waterfall is just beautiful. Great shot. Thanks for sharing the info on MSF :)
It's great how much your bike gets you through a lot of places. The waterfalls in the background is great too. Something like flowing water amidst a desert.
cool pic for this weeks theme! I love motorcycles. Some of my best memories are riding on the back of one when I was a teenager.
Maybe next year! This year I'm concentrating on rollerblading.
This is such a great post. Even better than my 2nd cousin's blog: Wife and daughters on the Bike. And even competing in races.
