~ This Saturday's Theme is Empty ~

Theme: Empty ** Become a Photo Hunter ** View Blogroll

These pictures were taken last summer for the MSR motorcycle scavanger hunt. I had to have my motorcycle taken with the World Arena. During this time of day the huge parking lot was "empty."

It was a gorgeous day for these photos and it was the second time I ventured out on my own with my motorcycle for a long ride. When the day was said and done I had done 129 miles on August 28th of last year. I went to Penrose and back and was it fun!!!

Wishing you many travel adventures,

Biker Betty :)

Sometimes, an empty parking lot is quite priceless. Especially when you're learning how to drive a car or bike. :P

Nice shots!

Very good "empty" photos. I admire you riding a long distance alone. I have been known to do so in my truck, but not on a bike. But then, I've never driven a bike, just "held down the back wheel" on some.

It's so odd the see a place like that so empty. Nice pictures!

I like seeing your pretty motorcycle, especially with no other cars or anything around. I wish I could go out in my stroller and ride all alone, just like you!

Wow! I am very impressed that you would go on a long ride by that by yourself! Empty parking lots are certainly the best kind! Have a wonderful weekend, Betty, and thanks for stopping by Pollywog Creek.

Excellent take on empty. I went to CC -- waaaaay back when -- and the World Arena wasn't there. I need to come back to the Springs and see how much it's changed.

I was thinking it would be an empty gas tank on your bike! Good choice Betty. Looks like it was a beautiful day for a ride.

What events do they hold there? Great photo and with the lovely bike as well. Does it get a bath after every trip?

It's always such a weird sight when you see such a big parking lot...empty!! Great picture for today's theme!! Mine is up too:-)

I looked up the World Arena. It holds almost 10,000 people! That is overwhelmingly large. I wonder how many vehicles that parking lot that you posed in will hold? Great shot!

You look so small in that great big parking lot. Love your beautiful bike.

Have a great weekend, Betty!

With the warmer weather approaching here in Michigan, and looking at all your biker photos, I can't wait to feel the wind in my face. No, I'm not a biker. Instead, I'm talking about boating and feeling the breeze.
