~ This Saturday's Theme is Architecture ~

Theme: Architecture ** Become a Photo Hunter ** View Blogroll

When I learned of this week's theme I immediately thought of this picture taken last summer. I love the architecture of this building. It was taken for the Mountain Shadow Rider's scavanger hunt. I needed to find a red building. It's funny how things work out. This is where we did all the paper work to buy our house.

It is red - look how tiny you & your bike appear up next to it! =)

That's a very cool building.

I knew it had to have a bike in it. (wink) Is it brick or some sort of adobe? I love the arches mixed with the pointed angles.. very interesting and most unusual.

Nice building, and nice bike! My husband is mad about bikes, owns a Triumph Bonneville and cares for it like it was his fourth child. I on the other hand cannot turn my head when riding a bicycle without almost crashing it.

That is quite the multiple purpose picture you have there! Great looking building and great looking biker in front of it!

It looks very special this building and of course (he, he) there is also a motorcycle, how is that possible ?? If I had taken that picture you would find a cat sitting in front of the building !

I love the lines of that building. Just shows you that the more modern architecture can be just as good as older.

I always have to check out your Photo Hunters picture just to see if you could incorporate your fabulous bike. And I am not disappointed! I am trying to figure out if I can trick out my stroller to look cool like yer bike.

What a cool photo, Betty. What really makes it interesting is you on your bike. It gives the building dimension. Have a great weekend! Blessings

Those biker scavenger hunts sound like SO much fun! I keep trying to encourage my hubby to get involved in one! He has several friends that do them and I just think he would enjoy it SO much!

Heh... my first thought when seeing the photo was "oh, it's so red!" and then I read that it was supposed to be that :D Yeah - I don't like red... But the shapes are great!

that picture is very eye catching (well it has to be with you in it)
but I mean the shapes and movement of the building going away from you

I love how you are able to include your passion for riding in many of your pictures, they are double winners in my book. Keep it up.
