My views, information, and adventures in motorcycling and photography. I'm a lady biker married to a wonderful biker husband. I love to ride my Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom and I want to share what I learn with others. I'm 5'2" tall and that provides challenges in itself. I've been riding just over 6 years now and I'm still learning lots. Check out my adventures in motorcycling and other fun activities. . .

~ Hello? Anybody Out There? ~
Wordless Wednesday
Here's a photo from last year's Mountain Shadow Riders photo scavanger hunt. I had to find a red telephone booth. I enjoyed some of the goofy stuff we had to find.
This scavanger hunt was sooooo much fun. No, I didn't win it and didn't even come near the points the winner earned. I did come in 3rd or 4th, which surprised me. They didn't have the exact points in front of them and there was only a first place trophy. Everyone else that submitted photos got a "Rat Race" patch.
Hi, I saw your comment on a friend's blog and I was intruiged..You see my husband rides- He has a Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500. I love riding with him, and I am a "pretend biker" I have an Aprilia Atlantic 500 Scooter- I started off with a my hubby's old Honda 650 but I just couldn't seem to get a grip on shifting- I was constantly stalling out. I love riding too, and considered getting one of those automatic motorcycles (can't afford a Ridley) but they were only 250's and I wouldn't be able to keep up with my hubby. My Atlantic does the job nicely, and it is automatic so I don't have to worry about shifting.
Enough bout me...I love meeting/reading about women bikers, so I will be back! :)
Hi again, Betty. We go to Colorado almost every year; only this is the first time we're taking our Gold Wing. Hubby's sister and her husband are going with their Harley. We'll trailer them out there, then ride bikes from wherever we park the car. I think we're going to start at Estes Park (not my favorite part of Colo., too crowded, but that's where we'll have to go to go through Rocky Mountain Ntl. Park. From there we'll play it by ear. Cliff's sister has never seen the Rockies, so she is in for a pleasant surprise.

What is really interesting to me in this picture, is that you found a telephone booth!! A thing of the past in most places.
Hope you have another one that we can follow!
