Today is an absolutely crummy day to ride a motorcycle. There's snow, ice and lots of rocks on the roads, and yes - I'm whining!! It looks like there will be a lot of these days this winter and I promise you I won't post about every one. I have another purpose for this post.

This morning I was cruising through all the blogs I like to read daily and I came across a very interesting post this morning. One I think every motorcyclist and scooter driver will find very interesting. Steve, over at Scooter In The Sticks has a very mind-blowing mini video to watch. It's called "Morning Fall." It's very well done and the ending leaves you speechless. I don't want to say anything more about the ending, as you just have to go over there and see it for yourself. Believe me, it is well worth your time to check it out. Now GO!!.... Scooter In The Sticks

PS: I'd love to hear your thoughts and comments on this video.

sorry that you can't get out for a ride. we finally got a break in the weather and i may actually be able to ride to work tomorrow. it will be the last time though, my name is down and the indoor storage unit for Selene is ready to go. i'm going to hate putting her away, even if it is only for a couple of months.

that video is amazing. i saw it a while back and just sat there with my jaw on the floor.

Wow, what a video Betty. It completely caught me off guard.
I for one will be watching more carefully for the four-leggers from now on.

That is an important video. I posted about it on my motorcycle bulletin board with a link to Steve's blog. Hopefully the Southern Rider members will watch it.

I expected something because you said to expect something.
But not that.

Morning sunshine!! I hate to boast yet we are supposed to make it up to 70 degrees here today. Rainy though so still not a good day to ride. My hubby is hoping the reain clears out so he can ride the bike to Columbia for dyno testing. They are running a special $25! Can't beat that!

Hi Giest, I hope you were able to go to work on your motorcycle. At least you were able to find a place for Selene. Didn't you also say it was heated?

It is amazing. This is the first time I had ever seen it. Blew me away. Very sobering.

Hi Sarch, Caught off guard, is exactly how I would put it. I was not ready for an ending like that.

Hi Pamela, That clip took a twist at the end I was not prepared for.

Hi Myra7775, Good morning to you too :) I'm glad someone is getting good weather. I sure hope it holds, so your husband can to the dyno testing. Sounds fun.

Thanks for checking out my blog. I'll place a link in my blogroll to yours also.

Just a note. You have me listed as 'Slablog Motorcycling'. My blog is actually just 'Slablog'. The motorcycling is just a brief explanation of the site.

Thanks
Phil A.

Hi Phil, I really enjoy reading your blog. I've corrected the title in your link. I was debating whether it was with or without the Motorcycle in the title.

Thanks for the link back
Betty :)

Betty: I've watched the video a number of times after I first posted it and it still shakes me a bit at the end. It's a scenario that I've not heard riders talk about and wondered if the director was a rider himself. Perhaps not being a rider allows for a different perspective. Maybe I need to listen closer to non-riders who tell me about safety issues....

I did search for some more information about the director Edward McGinty. At IMDB.com I found this:

During his tenure with Lollapalooza as stage manager/MC, Eddie grabbed a camera and became a triggerman for many of the music legends of the era. Taking a break from the road, he attended the prestigious American Conservatory Theatre to train as an actor & director. Following A.C.T. he was accepted to Columbia University where he is pursuing an M.F.A. in Film Directing at the Columbia School of the Arts. He is presently directing music videos as well.

And I link to more info about Morning Fall
