~ And the "Search" is On ~

Do you like to check and see what searches bring people to your blog? I do. There is always the usual searches that I expect to see. Such as: "V-Star," "Yamaha," "motorcycle," "women bikers," etc. Today I had one that left me chuckling and I'm soooo sure they didn't find what they were looking for here, lol.

I like to think that my blog is "family" rated. I don't curse (or hardly ever, lol), but respect those of you who do on your own blogs. Occasionally my blog may go "PG," but not sure that it ever has yet. I like it that anyone, of any age, can come here and hopefully enjoy whatever I may ramble on about.

Today I got a search that left me laughing, and I've had a few searches do that. Now if that person comes back , please know that I am in no way teasing you, I am just chuckling over the fact that you probably didn't expect what "I" had posted. You see, this person was searching for "Biker Bunnies." A couple of days ago I had posted a picture of my Biker Bunny that Santa brought me for Christmas.

I can just hear all my regular readers laughing right now. I think we can all imagine what this person was really searching for, lol. I've had people do other "adult" searches that brought them to my blog. Once I was talking about having to use a "screw" driver to install the new lightbulb in my headlight on my motorcycle and, lets just say, they didn't get what they were looking for either, lol!!!

What kind of funny searches have brought people to your blogs? We'd love to hear all about them (please keep it clean).

Wishing you good laughs in your part of the world,

Biker Betty ;)

the funniest one I had was
"people making bird calls by farting"

..... my whole family cracked up over that one.

(I went out to google to see "what the heck" and my blog was the 243rd search... so someone was seriously looking for this)

Hi Naomi & Sarch, I'd be glad to disclose the "search secret," lol. At the bottom of my blog is my visitor count. Just click on it and it will take you to the opening page for "Site Meter." And you too can sign up for the same free service. Just go to the paragraph "Get Your Own Site Meter" and a little down in blue and underlined is "Sign Up." It's free and I promise I get no money for this.

Another blogger disclosed this "secret" to me and it's really not a secret. Once your signed up you have access to a few free meters and statistics for a few things. Under statistics I can find out if someone used a search to find me and what it is they were searching (you just click on that search link). You don't find out exactly who it was, so no one worry there.

I find it interesting to see from what city, states and countries people come from who visit me. It never tells me exactly who visits, so the privacy is still there.

So just click on my site meter (# of visitors) and you can get started for free.

Hi Pamela, that is hilarious. Now there's a talent worth searching for, lol. Thanks for sharing that.

LOL! Well, so far the weirdest search has been, "dada kfor" --- is that even a word(s)?! LOL! whatever!!! Most of the people who do searches and end up at my blog have googled things like "PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS," "SEND HOLIDAY CARDS TO TROOPS," "ADOPT A SOLDIER" and the like.

Having said that, however, I'm sure I'll now get tons of freaky weird searches, LOL!

Hi Kat, Thanks for visiting. I've visited your blog and need to go back later, as there is a lot of good stuff going on there for our troops. Thanks for all you do for them.

Some of those searches can get kind of weird. I'm just glad that most of mine are pretty normal.

Betty thanks for the info on the counter. I've added one to my blog....neat stuff.

You mentioned a lack of people of the feminine gender on Southern Riders - please feel free to join in. We could use a female touch in there! LOL! Actually we have one or two female riders who show up from time to time. We would love for you to join in. You'll find that it is a "family friendly" place to post.
